We value our customers and invest in your individual needs, offering guidance and support along the way. We provide many services at no charge, including design advice, fabric samples, wood samples, and our unique Bum Test.

 

Our Commitment
We strongly recommend taking advantage of all our services prior to placing an order. Whether you need one chair for a home office or 20 chairs for a formal dining room, we always assure you of our best attention. We do not use exaggerated prices, discounts, or gimmicks (and we do not offer these on third-party sites). Instead, we calculate bespoke quotes based on the furniture models, leg finishes, fabric brands and collections, extra specifications, and quantities required, with delivery to your home included.

 

Data and How We Use Personal Information
We do not share your personal information with anyone outside our company, except with service providers we work with, such as:

  • Fabric houses for sample dispatch
  • The banking system for payment processing
  • External review platforms
  • External carriers upon request

 

Images and Fabric Display
The images on our site are for illustrative purposes only. While we strive to display colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your device will perfectly reflect the colours. Stripe, check, and patterned fabrics may not be cut or upholstered exactly as shown on this website.

 

Design Advice
Your design advisor will collaborate with you to ensure the best fit for your home and needs, considering factors such as furniture style, functionality, fabric preferences (including colour, texture, and anti-staining options), and overall décor. We may request pictures or samples of your current or proposed scheme to better understand your requirements.

 

Fabric Samples
You can request fabric samples through a design advisor. These samples will be posted to your home, enabling you to assess the texture and colour against your décor.
Note: Fabric houses typically limit requests to six samples per house. Natural variations and dye batch differences may occur, ensuring each piece is unique.

 

Fabric Characteristics
Natural characteristics are not faults:

  • Linens and weaves may have slubby textures or bobbling.
  • Leathers are natural products and may display brand marks, scars, growth lines, veins, or other unique traits, enhancing their natural beauty.
  • Velvets and chenilles may exhibit pile flattening or distortion, which is not a sign of wear.

 

Wood Swatches
You can request wood samples through a design advisor. These swatches allow you to assess the finish colour and match it to your décor.

 

The Bum Test

We offer our Bum Test Service free because we tie it in with our delivery routes, (dependent on your delivery area) bringing sample chairs to your home when we’re already in your area Monday to Friday. This allows you to experience the comfort of our chairs firsthand at no cost.

*The service does not cover the whole of the UK, as we tie this in with our delivery routes.

 

Pricing
All prices are correct at the time of publication and include VAT but exclude delivery and installation charges unless otherwise stated.
“Prices from” reflect entry-level fabrics.

 

Bespoke Quoting
Our design advisors calculate bespoke quotes based on your selected furniture models, fabrics, finishes, and quantities. Estimated lead times will be provided at the quoting stage.

 

Ordering Policy:


Made to Order
Orders are bespoke and made to your specifications. Changes, cancellations, and refunds are not accepted unless the item is faulty or damaged, in line with the manufacturer’s guarantee.

 

Payment
Full or part payment is required at the time of order placement to confirm your specifications and begin production. Payment indicates acceptance of our terms and conditions of sale. Preferred payment methods are card or bank transfer.

 

Lead Times
Made-to-order furniture is typically delivered within 11-16 weeks of order confirmation. Lead times may vary based on factors such as production schedules, fabric availability, holidays, or customer acceptance of delivery dates.

 

Delivery - White Glove Service (Mainland UK Only)
Our fixed delivery fee for most UK mainland addresses is £95. Additional fees may apply for remote locations.

Our team delivers to a ground-floor room of your choice, unpacks the product for inspection, and removes packaging. If you cannot accept delivery on the scheduled date, additional charges may apply.

 

Damages:


Chair People Delivery
Goods must be inspected at the time of delivery. If you choose not to unwrap the product, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage reported later.

 

External Carriers

  • Packaging damage must be signed for as damaged upon delivery.
  • Product defects must be reported within 24 hours.

 

Guarantee
We offer a 5-year guarantee on made-to-order products, excluding misuse or normal wear and tear. This guarantee is non-transferable.

 

Care Guides
Our design advisors provide detailed care guides, rub test results, and cleaning instructions to help you make informed choices and maintain your products for years to come.
